It will also vary depending on the location of the property as the surveyor will usually quote based on a number of factors such as the time taken to travel to the property, the time taken to inspect the property, the value of the property and the time taken to create and prepare the Home Report Document.
Generally speaking, the cost of the Home Report will be higher if the property is in an extremely remote area, large, old, and of high value. The cost of a home report on a fairly close by, small, new, lower value property will be significantly less.

What’s included in a Home Report Cost?
The Home Report is made up of three parts. This is the EPC certificate, Property Questionnaire and the Single Survey. This is the basis of the report and what is legally required when it comes to selling your property.
Our surveyor will visit your property and undertake the home report at a suitably convenient time and this will usually last an hour. The home report cost includes the visit to your property to do the home report of, course, but it also includes the time it takes our surveyor to do research before the visit.
The surveyor will then write the report based on their finding and will also follow up when the sale goes through. Here at the Home Report Company we keep costs to a minimum so that we can charge a very competitive price for the home report.
